Please pray for my marriage

#1

I would like to ask your prayers for my marriage. My husband of 18 years has left me and our 3 children and is trying to decide if he would like to stay married. I desperately need prayers for his mental health and renewed commitment to our marriage vows. I pray a rosary every day for this intention as well as many other prayers and would appreciate if you could add this intention to your prayers as I believe this is the only way his heart and mind will ever change.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

I will share you your rosary

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Bernadetteann
I can only imagine your distress and ask our blessed Mother to intercede for you, your children, your husband and your marriage.
Mother, your request to Jesus at the wedding feast of Cana was only to spare the hosts from the embaressment of running out of wine, yet though He protested that “my time has not yet come” He still went ahead and worked the miracle. Mother Mary please ask Jesus to heal Bernadetteann’s husband and marriage.

Welcome to CAF, Bernadetteann
We’ll keep you in our prayers

I am so very sorry, Bernadetteann. I assure you that you will be included in all my daily rosaries, daily Masses and daily adorations. I pray your husband remains commited and faithful to his marriage vows and tries to make things work out between the two of you. Peace! And have faith!

I thank you all for your responses and for your prayers. Already I believe your prayers have made a difference for he has agreed to come with me and our children on a quick overnight trip to see my family who live 4 hours away. He had originally said no and then the first day I had posted my prayer request I was sitting and reading the responses when the phone rang. It was him saying he had changed his mind and would come. I immediately knew it was the power of these prayers joined with mine that changed his mind. We leave today and will return tomorrow. Thank you again so much and please keep praying for us!

Bernadette, you hang in there ok! Prayers for you! I don’t understand how husbands can do this stuff and question for one second leaving a marriage. You sound like a keeper and you deserve better treatment. I’ll pray for you and hope you stay strong for now!
