Please pray for my son..thank you

#1

Dear Brothers and Sisters…my son has had a high fever yesterday and saw the doctor, who started him immediately on antibiotics and other medication for cough, phlegm and runny nose.

He is sitting for his term 3 exams from tomorrow (Mon, 17th August) and the medicines though helping is making him lethargic. He has still much revision to do.

Please pray that my boy is able to put in his best to concentrate in writing his papers, and be clear-minded and that the medicines will not affect him negatively.

Please also pray that he will be fully recovered very soon to continue to write his other papers until 26th August and to do his best for this exams.

I praise and thank God for all His religious men and women. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Jesus I understand Aatina’s anxiety for her son as most parents will. Please give her son all the healing and help he needs to do well in his exams.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death. Amen

May God grant him the strength to pull through his duties despite the medication and illness and do well in his work and exams.

#5

Dear Father in Heaven please bring Aatina’s son through his illness and medications so that he will be able to do his exams properly and also revise his work and complete other commitments for his studies. In Christ’s name. Amen.

A Pater Noster, Ave Maria and a Gloria Patri for the cause.

Rove

Dear Aatina,

Once was in a similar situation and know your son’s struggles. Had stomach flu real bad on the day of a final English exam which was so big that the professor had let us get a head start on the test at home. My mother drove me to the university in the car as I was too sick to take the bus, waited while I took the test, and drove me immediately home afterwards. I was unable to complete the test since I was feeling so poorly, so finally I wrote on it my apologies that I was unable to finish along with the reason why. Ended up passing easily with a good grade because I had an understanding professor.

May God have similar mercy on your son.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Proverbs Chapter 3
The Value of Wisdom.

  1. Happy the man who finds wisdom,
    the man who gains understanding !
  2. For her profit is better than profit in silver,
    and better than gold is her revenue;
  3. She is more precious than corals,
    and none of your choice possessions can compete
    with her.
  4. Long is her right hand,
    in her left are riches and honor;
  5. Her ways are pleasant ways,
    and all her paths are peace;
    18.She is a tree of life* to those who grasp her,
    and he is happy who holds her fast.
  6. The Lord, by wisdom founded the earth,
    established the heavens by understanding;
    20.By his knowledge the depths break open,
    and the clouds drop down dew.
    21.My son, let not these slip out of your sight:
    keep advice and counsel in view;
  7. So will they be life to your soul,
    and an adornment for your neck.
    23 Then you may securely go your way;
    your foot will never stumble;
  8. When you lie down, you need not be afraid,
    when you rest, your sleep will be sweet.
  9. Honor is the possession of wise men,
    but fools inherit shame.
    God Bless and good luck for your son in passing his exams!:thumbsup:
