Please pray for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy in the Philippines

#1

Just last night, the Philippines (a country a 90% plus population of Catholics) was hit by the worse storm that happened in 40 years. Currently, the government is struggling to provide immediate relief efforts. Over thousands have been evacuated in Metro Manila and there are severe casualties.

Our father who art in heaven, Holy be your name. Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today, our daily bread and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not to the test but deliver from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, our Lord is with thee. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of death, Amen.

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beggining, now and ever shall be world with out end. Amen.

The people of the Philippines are in my thoughts and prayers, today and in the weeks ahead as they struggle to deal with their losses, and to rebuild their lives. May God help them to keep faith in the face of their disaster.
May God comfort those who have lost family members, and welcome the souls of the dead.
I ask You Lord to ensure that the rescue and provision of food, clothing and shelter will be better managed in this disaster it has been reported to be until now. Please grant the prayers of Your distressed people.
