Please pray for these 3 men who become Priests tomorrow

Donald, Randy and Sal will be ordained tomorrow in our Diocese----THANK YOU LORD:

A prayer for future priests by St. Therese of Lisieux.

Divine Jesus, listen to the prayer I am turning to you for he who wishes to be your missionary: protect him in the midst of dangers in the world; make him feel more and more the nothingness and vanity of fleeting things and happiness in knowing how to despise them for your love. Your sublime apostolate is already exerted over those who surround him: may he be an apostle, worthy of your Sacred Heart. Oh Mary, sweet Queen of Carmel, I entrust to you the soul of this future priest. Teach him from now with how much love you touched the Divine Child Jesus and how you wrapped him in swaddling clothes so that he one day might go up the Holy Altar and carry the King of Heaven in his hands. I ask you again to always protect him in the shade of your virginal mantle until the happy moment when, on leaving this valley of tears, he will be able to contemplate your splendor and enjoy the fruit of his glorious apostolate for the whole of eternity!

Dear Jesus, Eternal High Priest, please bless and guide these new priests. Help them with their work, their challenges, and keeping their vows. Give them as many good helpers as you can and also give them moments of joy so they don’t lose heart. In Your Name I ask that you please send your Holy Spirit to strengthen them and help them grow in their vocations.

Holy Mary, St. Joseph and St. Jean Vianney, please pray for these new priests.
Thank you. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for Newly Ordained Priests

O Jesus, our great High Priest, hear our humble prayers
on behalf of Your newly ordained priests – especially
Fathers Donald, Randy, and Sal. Give them a deep faith,
a bright and firm hope, and a burning love which will ever
increase during their priestly lives.

In their loneliness, comfort them; in their sorrows, strengthen
them; in their frustrations, remind them that suffering purifies
the soul. Show them that they are needed by the Church;
by souls; and for the work of redemption.

O loving Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Priests, take to your
heart your sons – especially Fathers Donald, Randy, and Sal.
Be their comfort, their joy, and their strength. Most of all, help
them to live and to defend the ideals of consecrated celibacy.
In the name of your Son, Jesus, amen.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
