My friend Rick - my hospice companion that I visited over the last seven months passed away from ALS - please pray for his soul - this a huge loss for me. May he rest in peace.
This upsets me deeply.

Please Lord have mercy on Rick and welcome him into you Kingdom.May he know your peace and your love.Hear my prayers Oh Lord for my friend Rick

Lord our God, your Son so loved the world
that he gave himself up to death for our sake.
Remember Rick in your Kingdom
Strengthen us by your grace,
and give us a heart willing to live by that same love.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

**Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen. *

For your dear friend Rick,

Eternal Father,
we offer Thee the most precious blood of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ
in union with the masses said throughout the world today,
for the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere,
for sinners in the universal church, those in our own homes and within our family,
and for Rick.

Amen
