Pope Francis makes exorcisms official Catholic practice

The Church has had official rites of exorcism for hundreds of years, if not longer. I think the title of this article is misleading. The makes the association “official” but it doesn’t make exorcisms any more “official”.

A mainstream news sources misunderstands an act of the Catholic Church? I am truly shocked.

(Okay, not really. :p)

As though exorcisms weren’t “official Catholic practice” before.

Wasn’t it already an official practice?
