Pope Paul VI who died 40 years ago today

The new every Pope a Saint trend will do nothing to encourage good governance in Rome or the dioceses.

I actually agree. I think there should be more of a waiting period for Popes. Paul VI was obviously extremely influential with Humanae Vitae but most Popes in history who did awesome things never get proclaimed saints. I think time should be allowed to shine on the Popes. JP2 is a special case since he was obviously…Great.

I want to see a Pope declared a living saint :innocent:

Not my favourite, but he’s a blessed, so he must have been a good man.

Blessed Paul VI pray for us .
