It’s a phrase, but “going forward”. A darling of the corporate set.

Grow, as in ‘grow your business’.

And ‘we are church”.

Taking any noun, putting an ‘ed’ on it, and using as a verb.

“The president helicoptered to the White House’.

“She’s going to be ultrasounded on Thursday”.

“Eating healthy’. Eating healthy WHAT? Healthy is an adjective dang it. The right phrase would be ‘eating healthfully.’

Also “Adulting.’ Gag.

Racist. Apparently having an opinion makes you one now.

Community

“The community” instead of just saying neighborhood, residents, business owners

“Faith community” instead of church or parish; use of “community” in this context also signals you’re likely to find some, maybe a lot, of 70s/ 80s atmosphere when you visit the church.

In the News forums, “intrinsically evil” and “infallible” as in the Pope and Magisterium are never infallible outside ex cathedra declarations. It’s pretty disturbing.

“The American people.”

Politicians never say “Americans need…” It is always “the American people need…” Why use one word when you can use three?
