Pray for all the starving people around the world

#1

Please pray for all the starving people around the world, especially the children!

#2

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

#3

Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence we fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, our Mother. To thee do we come; before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate despise not our petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer us. Amen.

#4

Praying with you…

#5

God, please watch over all the people in the world who go without food. Please help us as men and women who are blessed with the gift of this sustenance, and allow us to use our gifts in solidarity with our brothers and sisters who go hungry. Please keep our eyes, arms, and hearts open so we do not forget there are people who need us. Please do not let us forget how much we need you.
Amen

#6

Our God, we ask for rain for crops, orchards, and feed;
and that wise management of resources will be implemented everywhere.
We pray that corrupt governments will be replaced by good government that ensures tht welfare of all their people;
and for the cessation of wars and of religious conflicts that create refugee problems, leaving people unable to provide for themselves.
Please let both wisdom and charity ensure a decent living for all.

#7

Sharing the loaves and fishes,
You gave us an image of solidarity with the hungry, O Lord.

Sharing yourself in the Bread and Wine,
You called all to the table, O Lord.

Give me the hunger to be a part of the feeding
And the healing of this world.

Nourish me with your Grace,
So I may work with joy to serve your children.

Open my eyes and my heart
To recognize those in poverty
And increase my awareness
Of the structures and systems
That need to be changed
So we may all break bread together.

In your name we pray for the end of hunger.
Amen.

We give you thanks,
God of Abundant Life,
for bread and friendship and hope.
With these gifts of Your grace we are nourished.
With these signs of Your presence we are able
to stand in solidarity with those across the globe
who struggle for their daily bread.
Continue then to nourish us,
inspire us and call us
that we might help make Your reign more of a reality in our day. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we ask for rain for crops, orchards, and feed;
and that wise management of resources will be implemented everywhere.

Please grant that corrupt governments will be replaced by good government that ensures that welfare of all their people;
and for the cessation of wars and of religious conflicts that create refugee problems, leaving people unable to provide for themselves.
Please let both wisdom and charity ensure a decent living for all.

Father please inspire all those who can assist the starving and homeless with essentials for life and welfare, and protect these avenues from misappropriation and theft.

Father have mercy on Your children, in the name of Jesus who loves us.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve:
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.

O Creator,
Our world is large, and yet the global community is so fragile.
We glimpse the needs of our sisters and brothers,
And those needs are great.
We want to turn away, but you call us back.
We want simple solutions,
But you want us to help solve the complex problems.
Through your church, you call us to listen, to learn, to reflect and to act.
Give us a deep sense of our place in this web of Creation.
Give us the wisdom of mind And generosity of heart
To seek your will in the world today.
Inspire us to respond to the call of your servant, Pope John Paul II,
As he calls us to solidarity with impoverished countries of the world,
So that all children of God might live in dignity and peace.
Amen.

#14

Soul of Christ, make me holy
Body of Christ, be my salvation
Blood of Christ, let me drink your wine
Water flowing from the side of Christ, wash me clean
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
Kind Jesus, hear my prayer
Hide me within your wounds
And keep me close to you
Defend me from the evil enemy
And call me at the hour of my death
To the fellowship of your saints
That I might sing your praise with them
for all eternity. Amen.

#15

Lord, I beg You to help these poor people. Please infuse the hearts of all of us who can help with Your love and mercy so we will be charitable to those in need of food. Inspire us to empty our cupboards so that the starving souls of this world can eat!

#16

Praying. But also we should not just pray but do something for them.
