Pray for me: exams and faith

I have exams soon, and I am asking you to pray to God for me. To help relieve stress, anxiety and to help me in the days before my exam, to prepare me physically (I tend to have problems being fatigued a lot) and in the mindset, intellectually, and spiritually.

Also, I have not been feeling the stress at all, which has made me relaxed, and thus I feel underprepared, and in the last days before the exam, I would ask that you pray for me, to help me make the most I can out of my remaining days before the exams begin (6th - 20th)

I’m not wishing to aim high, but I do just hope to get what I need for my university course.

And also, I would also request a prayer for my faith. I feel as though I’m not trying. I do the bare minimum, I go to Mass, I pray, now and then it doesn’t have that “special” feeling. I feel it’s just simply because I’m becoming lazier (E.g. Now and then I rush my prayers! It’s bad, I know), I have less time to spare. The time will never come where I will give up the faith, that I am sure of, but I need help in being more pro-active (and knowledgable & understanding!) in my faith.

Thank you all, and God bless! :gopray:

Praying that you do well! (I’m sure you will).

I am praying for you.

By the way, someone recently posted here asking for prayer to pass his physics exam. He not only passed, he passed with the highest test score he had ever received!

Prayer is like many other things in life, you get out of it what you put into it. Even though you don’t feel stressed, you have a lot on your plate if your in school. Maybe you’ve put prayer on the back burner so your faith is lagging. Try to spend just a few extra minutes per day in prayer–you don’t have to start with the Rosary or anything (although you can never go wrong praying the Rosary!). Also, try stopping in at your Church at least one day this week to pray before the Blessed Sacrament. Some other things to help you through spiritual dryness: read the Bible, read the works of the Saints, or even listen to some uplifting Christian music.

I’m praying…
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee, Blessed art Thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Lorica of Saint Patrick

I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through a belief in the Threeness,
Through confession of the Oneness
Of the Creator of creation.

I arise today
Through the strength of Christ’s birth and His baptism,
Through the strength of His crucifixion and His burial,
Through the strength of His resurrection and His ascension,
Through the strength of His descent for the judgment of doom.

I arise today
Through the strength of the love of cherubim,
In obedience of angels,
In service of archangels,
In the hope of resurrection to meet with reward,
In the prayers of patriarchs,
In preachings of the apostles,
In faiths of confessors,
In innocence of virgins,
In deeds of righteous men.

I arise today
Through the strength of heaven;
Light of the sun,
Splendor of fire,
Speed of lightning,
Swiftness of the wind,
Depth of the sea,
Stability of the earth,
Firmness of the rock.

I arise today
Through God’s strength to pilot me;
God’s might to uphold me,
God’s wisdom to guide me,
God’s eye to look before me,
God’s ear to hear me,
God’s word to speak for me,
God’s hand to guard me,
God’s way to lie before me,
God’s shield to protect me,
God’s hosts to save me
From snares of the devil,
From temptations of vices,
From every one who desires me ill,
Afar and anear,
Alone or in a mulitude.

I summon today all these powers between me and evil,
Against every cruel merciless power that opposes my body and soul,
Against incantations of false prophets,
Against black laws of pagandom,
Against false laws of heretics,
Against craft of idolatry,
Against every knowledge that corrupts man’s body and soul.
Christ shield me today
So that reward may come to me in abundance.

Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me,
Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of every man who speaks of me,
Christ in the eye that sees me,
Christ in the ear that hears me.

I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through a belief in the Threeness,
Through a confession of the Oneness
Of the Creator of creation
