Pray for me.

Though I have been a life-long Catholic, I sometimes doubt if I am even worthy of the name. What have I done (I keep asking myself) to spread this faith that I believe in?
Please pray for me that I find peace in my soul.

Praying for you from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm-prayer

Accept the prayers of your servants, Lord, and prepare our hearts to praise your holy name. Come to our aid in time of trouble and make us worthy to sing you songs of thanksgiving.

Ant. My heart is ready, O God, my heart is ready.

Ant. 2 The Lord has robed me with grace and salvation.

Amen

And as St. Francis of Assisi once said,

“Let us begin again, for until now we have done nothing.”

Praying for you. You are worthy. God bless you.

Praying for you.

Also, some words of inspiration from St. Therese of Liseaux:

“You know, Mother, that I have always wanted to be become a saint. Unfortunately when I have compared myself with the saints, I have always found that there is the same difference between the saints and me as there is between a mountain whose summit is lost in the clouds and a humble grain of sand trodden underfoot by passersby. Instead of being discouraged, I told myself: God would not make me wish for something impossible and so, in spite of my littleness, I can aim at being a saint. It is impossible for me to grow bigger, so I put up with myself as I am, with all my countless faults. But I will look for some means of going to heaven by a little way which is very short and very straight, a little way that is quite new…] It is your arms, Jesus, which are the lift to carry me to heaven, And so there is no need for me to grow up. In fact, just the opposite: I must stay little and become less and less.”

God bless you.

Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen…

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Consecration to the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ (VERY POWERFUL)

O Precious Blood of Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Her Immaculate Conception and St Joseph, I consecrate myself and all the days of my life to your love and worship. I place myself and my loved ones in a special manner under your powerful protection, begging that your blessing may always rest upon us.

Most Precious Blood, be our light in darkness, our strength in temptation, our consolation in sorrow, our passport to heaven, and the eternal object of our praise and love. Amen

Oh, you have done something. You have been chosen by the Father to be alive at this time in history. All He wants from you in return? Say, yes, I desire to be closer to Jesus…
Then Jesus will fill your heart with love for him so that everyone who sees you will see Jesus alive in you! This love will seep out. You cannot hold it in!

God bless you with faith, strength, peace, hope and love!

Memorare

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen
