Pray for me

Okay, first and foremost, I do have a spiritual connection to Lebanon, so what happened there upset me. I also have a close connection to France: My French professor used to live there. I even signed a flag with the Saint Michael prayer and wrote a Bible verse on a heart. Anyway, I have a French presentation Friday, and I am SO nervous. My French is not too bad, but with all that has being going on in the world lately, I am feeling overwhelmed. I not only ask for your prayers for me, but I also ask for your prayers for the whole world. Please pray for those people as well.

Praying for your intentions. Praying with all for all.

Thank you

Praying for you.

Our Father…

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Praying for your intentions.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

[INDENT]A Prayer for the World

God of all, make us aware that you want all
nations to be your one family. Help us to be
concerned about the welfare of every
individual you have put on this earth. May
all nations allow themselves to be guided
by a common standard of justice and truth,
while respecting the rich variety of many
cultures. May those whom you have
blessed with greater material and spiritual
riches recognize your call to share with
those who are now developing toward
nationhood. Hasten the day when wars will
cease and people will live in tolerance and
peace because they have learned to respect
your image in every person. Amen.

praying that you will do well on your French presentation.

Anima Christi

Soul of Christ, make me holy
Body of Christ, be my salvation
Blood of Christ, let me drink your wine
Water flowing from the side of Christ, wash me clean
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
Kind Jesus, hear my prayer
Hide me within your wounds
And keep me close to you
Defend me from the evil enemy
And call me at the hour of my death
To the fellowship of your saints
That I might sing your praise with them
for all eternity. Amen.

prayers being offered…

I pray for adamhovey1988, that he be able to
function w/ all that is going on in the world today,
and that he can be ABLE, WITH YOUR HELP to
make that presentation in French this Friday!!
Give him the Peace and Grace needed to carry it
out, encourage him thru Friends and Family, O God.

Our Father, who is in heaven,
Your Name be held holy,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses as
we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

My French teacher was not disappointed. I ended up talking really fast, and knew the answers to most of the questions I was asked. I had to memorise it almost word for word, and I did stutter a bit (I have a little bit of a stutter anyway). One of the older ladies in the class said that I talked fast because I speak French well (she said this after class), to which I responded, “No I don’t”. So my Francophone Friday is not yet over, as I am going to something later to celebrate French culture. Part of that is having a crush on my French professor and saying I would; the other part of that is because I do legitimately feel badly for what happened there and would like to do whatever I can for them. I also heard about what happened in Mali today. Please PRAY for peace. I don’t want to sound apocalyptic or depressing or anything, but I can’t wait to meet Jesus. My favourite Bible verse (the one I wrote to the French embassy, in fact, I wrote it in French) is Revelation 21:4. I know many French people are not religious but I take comfort in that verse and I hope they do, too. I thank you for your prayers.
