Heavenly Father we ask Your powerful action for Tartini’s brother, John, who is suffering from severe alcohol addiction and denial as how severe his problem is, despite the harm to his health and life, and the pain he causs his family.
Please give him grace to care about others and himself. Give him grace to face his problem, his rejection of love, and his despair. Help him to welcome the love and help offered to him and to love others in return.
Please give comfort to his elderly mother, Betty. Please grant her continued perserverence and faith, which so tested by her helplessness and anxiety regarding her son. It makes her intensely anxious as to the concern for the state of his bodily health and state of his soul.
We commend these concerns to Your mercy and grace in the name of Your beloved Son Jesus
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners, now
and at the hour of our death. Amen
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself
Our Mother, St. Michael the Archangel, their guardian angels and patron saints, please pray for Tartini’s brother, mother, and family
