Pray for the conversion of those who persecute us

Hello everyone. I know that persecution of American Catholics is nowhere near as severe as the persecution that other Catholics throughout the world face but that is what inspired this post. I was on Youtube and came across a video which I thought would be about a person’s experience of learning about the Catholic Church. Instead, it was a vile and hateful video accusing the Catholic Church of being an international organization for pedophiles. Anyway, I want you all to join me in prayer for the conversion of anyone and everyone throughout the world who persecutes Catholic Christians.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Remember oh most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee oh Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then most gracious advocate thine eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Oh clement, oh loving, oh sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us oh holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray and do thou oh prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell. Lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Lord, hear our prayers

Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

The Golden Arrow:

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most mysterious and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen.

Hymn of the Church Militant

Great God, that bowest sky and star,
bow down our towering thoughts to Thee,
and grant us in a faltering war
the firm feet of humility.

Lord, we that snatch the swords of flame,
Lord, we that cry about Thy Ear,
we too are weak with pride and shame,
we too are as our foemen are.

Yea, we are mad as they are mad,
Yea we are blind as they are blind,
Yea we are sick and sad
who bring good news to all mankind.

The dreadful joy Thy Son has sent
is heavier than any care;
we find, as Cain his punishment,
our pardon more than we can bear.

Lord, when we cry to Thee far and near
and thunder through all lands unknown
the gospel in every ear,
Lord, let us not forget our own.

Cleanse us from ire of creed or class,
the anger of the idle kings;
sow our souls, like living grass,
the laughter of lowly things.
