Praying for all those involved

Heavenly Father, have mercy on the souls of the dead, and on the healing of the injured. Please help all those affected by this tragedy to rebuild their lives. I ask You this, in Jesus’ name.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Loving God,

We lift up all those affected by the plane crash near Buffalo and ask for your mercy, comfort, and blessings for them. We are provided with the opportunities for suffering and to endure your trials in our lives as your prepare us for the plan you have for each of us. As difficult as it may be sometimes, Lord, we need to respond to your call “Thy will be done” as your son Jesus did in the garden of Gethsemane. Please receive the dear departed into the place your son Jesus has prepared for them; bless and strengthen the family and friends who mourn for them; and bless the investigators and care givers who determine what happened and how to avoid the situation in the future. Please also bless the family who lost their father and husband and home as the plane crashed into their house. Please help all affected by these events to understand your unconditional love for them and that you will often bend, but not break, each one of us as your perfect plan for our lives is unveiled. Bless and comfort all your people affected by this tragedy O Lord.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.
