Ok the full story; at about 8 o clock on the Thursday evening of the 21st of august 1897. This was the first of the appearances to the Irish people the blessed virgin mother, St. Joseph and St. John the evangelist appeared at the south gable of the church at knock county Mayo Ireland beside them and a little to their left was an alter with a cross and the figure of a lamb, there were fifteen official witness to the apparition young and old who watched and prayed for two hours in pouring rain. Two commission f enquiries in 1879 and 1936 accepted their
testimony as trustworthy and satisfactory. Pope John Paul has came to Ireland to visited the holy ground of knock Shire where the appearances had occurred

Prayer to our lady of Knock:

Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland
You gave hope to your people in a time of distress
And comforted them in sorrow
You have inspired countless pilgrims
To pray with confidence to your divine son,
Remembering his promise
“Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find”
Help me to remember that we all pilgrims on the road to heaven
Fill me with love and concern for my brother and sisters in Christ especially those who live with me
Comfort me who I am sick, lonely or depressed
Teach me how to take part ever more reverently in the holy mass
Give me a greater love of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament
Pray for me now and at the hour of my death. Amen

Ok I fail to remember to say yesterday…that it was the day our blessed mother appeared on the 21 of august (in 1879 and again in 15 august 1937). We should pray to her for the gratitude and the good she has brought to Ireland predominantly in mayo in knock shrine to this day so let us pray to her. And here work is still been showing to this day in Knock Shrine. With the most astonishing and breathtaking cures. So if you are ever in Ireland please please please go to knock shrine is something you must do in Ireland to see why we admire and love her so so much. You never know who you mite see there…once I saw the president of Ireland a few years ago there.
