Prayer Candle

Not sure where to post this, but here goes…

My DD is asking Santa for a St. Jude prayer candle for Christmas. (Couldn’t figure out why until I saw that his feast day is her birthday. )

I can’t seem to find one. Any ideas where I might find such a thing?

Here is one place that popped up when I searched, you might be able to find it cheaper at a Catholic store maybe or if someone sells one on ebay.
Well, here’s one from ebay:

I still think you might be able to find one cheaper somewhere else. Good luck!

Is this what you are talking about…
if this is it…any Mexican Store or Bodega (SP?) should carry it

That’s what I’m looking for! I just don’t know of any Mexican stores around here?!

If you plan on lighting it, please do not get the ones from Mexico. They tend to explode. Make sure the candle is American made.

These are sold in abundance at our local grocery stores - Safeway, King Soopers, Albertsons. They all sell them. I never thought to see where they were made, but we’ve never had any problem with any of them. (no explosions, except maybe of devotion)

Dollar stores often carry them as well.

Thanks for the replies…I guess I’ll need to take a tour of the dollar stores. Has anyone seen them at a specific type of dollar store?
