Prayer for my loved ones to be freed from cigarettes

I am very concerned about my Mom, as she is addicted to cigarettes.

I have told her how I feel about it and I really want her to quit.

Please pray that my Mom will be cigarette free and healthy and happy.

Please pray equally for my equally beloved Aunt who is in the exact same situation.

I love them very much and want the best for them. Please pray for their health and their wellbeing and that they are free from cigarettes in 2013.

Thank you.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Prayers for a “smoke free” healthy 2013
Peace in Christ,

Eternal Father
I offer you the body and blood,
soul and divinity,
of your dearly beloved son,
Our Lord, Jesus Christ, (I go to mass every Sunday)
in atonement for our sins,
and those of the whole world.

For the sake of his sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Please free these people from their addiction to cigarettes.

My aunt died from stomach cancer from excessive smoking. She didn’t go to mass. Make sure you and they go to mass every Sunday and Holy day of Obligation. It is nice to hear the music and if you don’t you don’t receive nearly the same graces if you don’t go.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee,
blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus,
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Mary please free them from their addictions, we beseech thee.

I will pray for this prayer intention.

I pray that your mother and your aunt will live to please God alone and will keep away from the pleasures that will harm them/shorten their lives.

Our Father…

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy,
our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To you do we cry, the children of Eve;
to you do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate,
your eyes of mercy toward us;
And after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.
