Prayer for my son

Kindly include in your prayers my son please who is going through some depression and anxiety. He was raised as a catholic but has stopped going to church. My prayers is for him to be restored in perfect health mind body and spirit as God created him to be and most importantly that he would acknowledge the presence and love of God in his life.

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it
known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins,
my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen. :signofcross:

Most dear Jesus,
filled with sorrow during the agony in the garden,
covered with a sweat of blood while praying,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
delivered into the hands of the wicked by a kiss,
bound like a robber,
and abandoned by your disciples,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
condemned to death by an unjust Council,
taken as an evildoer before Pilate,
and ridiculed by the wicked Herod,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
publicly shorn of your garments,
and most cruelly scourged at the pillar,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
crowned with thorns,
beaten and blindfolded,
clothed in rich purple and mocked,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
likened to the infamous Barabbas,
rejected by your people,
and unjustly sentenced to death,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
burdened with the weight of the Cross
and led to the place of execution like a lamb to the slaughter,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
reckoned with the wicked, blasphemed, and derided,
and given gall to drink to mitigate your pain,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
dying on the Cross in the presence of Mary,
pierced with a lance that drew blood and water from your side,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
taken down and placed in the arms of your Sorrowful Mother,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
horribly bruised and marked with five wounds,
annointed for burial and placed in a tomb,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

My Jesus,
I thank you for dying on the Cross for my sins.
Have mercy on us, O Lord.

Amen.

[INDENT]For Those Who Suffer with Emotional Illness

Lord Jesus, Your healing extends to the depths of our mysterious being. Remember the sufferings of those who are afflicted with emotional disorder. Help them to understand themselves, help others to understand them. In their agony of fear or anger, sadness or despair, confusion, withdrawal, loneliness, or loss of self-esteem, may they find the grace to trust You, to let You love them through the ministry of friends, and to appreciate the beauty and the value of their persons. Free them, lead them to peace, bless them with truth and reality. Amen.

Prayer for Inactive Catholics

Christ Jesus, Head of the Body, the Church,
You so loved the world
You gave your life to redeem us
And restored us to Your friendship.

Give us, we pray, the grace we need
To speak lovingly and confidently
A word of invitation to inactive Catholics
To return to the practice of their faith.

Make us instruments of Your welcome and peace.
Bring back to the fold all who have been hardened by the world
Or wounded by the Church.
May they know the joy of reconciliation with You
And join us once more at the Table of the Eucharist.

Use us as messengers of your love
To reach out to inactive Catholics,
To marginalized Catholics,
And to anyone searching for a faith community
They can call “Home.”

Grace Your Church with new members
Strong in the practice of their faith
And in their devotion to the Eucharist.

Help us grow in love for one another
And for the Most Holy Name of Jesus
In whose Name we offer this prayer. Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon mlorenzana’s Son in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give

  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.

Our Lady of Mental Peace,

  • Pray for us!
    Amen.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular mlorenzana’s Son, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal mlorenzana’s Son. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into mlorenzana’s Son’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Good Saint Dymphna, great wonder-worker in every affliction of mind and body, I humbly implore your powerful intercession with Jesus through Mary, the Health of the Sick, in my present need. Please remember Mlorenzana’s son in your prayers, please help heal his anxiety and depression and bring him back to church. Saint Dymphna, martyr of purity, patroness of those who suffer with nervous and mental afflictions, beloved child of Jesus and Mary, pray to Them for me and obtain my request. Amen.

I believe God is healing him now through all your prayers for him. Thank you so much for all your prayers. You are all God’s instrument of healing. God bless you all.

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

**Blessed Saint Raphael, Archangel,
We beseech you to help us in all our needs
and trials of this life,
as you, through the power of God,
didst restore sight and gave guidance to young Tobit.
We humbly seek your aid and intercession,
that our souls may be healed,
our bodies protected from all ills,
and that through divine grace we may become fit
to dwell in the eternal Glory of God in heaven.

Amen.**
