Prayer for my Spanish

It might sound silly, but if you guys would offer up a prayer or two for my studies in spanish I would appreciate it. It’s very important to me to learn this language for a variety of reasons both relating to my life and in a spiritual way.

Please pray for me that I will continue to absorb this language and keep practicing everyday when temptation tells me to grab a beer instead or choose some other mindless activity or alternative when given the opportunity to expand my knowledge of this important aspect to my life.

Espero que puedes aprender espanol muy bien, y rapidamente.

Back when I was studying Spanish, I found that every time I had an interaction with a Spanish speaker, I learned something new. Even if it wasn’t new it solidified my understanding. I found that I didn’t really believe what the books taught until I heard it spoken by a person,
I was walking past a couple when the man said “Tengo frio.” It was like a revelation; people really do say that! It was fun.
Buena suerte! May the Lord help you study hard.

.

It’s amazing as I have priceless resources available to me which I don’t consider a coincidence. God has definitely given me la oportunidad to keep this growing. All I need is to do my part but it can be so hard at times.

That’s why I’m asking all the angels and saints, the blessed Mary ever virgin, and YOU my brothers and sisters to pray for me to the Lord our God

Even my own Church has more spanish masses available than they do English  No excuses I suppose

Praying for your intentions.

praying for your ability to read, write and communicate to improve. Spanish was my major in college. It helps to have a Spanish speaker you can communicate with often. Also, watching the telenovelas on the Spanish speaking tv channels helps. praying you will find the time to keep improving and becoming more proficient.

Praying…

Praying…

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
