I ask for prayers for Mediatrix A., who looks to possibly be entering hospice soon after a long battle with advanced colon cancer. Her family is quite upset, understandably, as they lost her husband/their father/brother etc. only six years prior.
Please pray that the Lord, if He so wills it, will heal her and extend her life. In any event, however, pray that the Lord will console and relieve the suffering of Mediatrix, her children, and her whole family in this time of crisis. Her son, one of my best friends, in particular is not doing so well with this, it seems like, and could really use your prayers for Divine support.
I lost my Dad about 3 1/2 years ago after a long bout with COPD. It hurt tremendously to let him go, but it was time. It took a while for me to realize that wanting him to stay here with us was incredibly selfish of me. How could I ask him to continue suffering and prolong the Kingdom of Heaven so that I wouldn’t have to say goodbye.
I pray that Mediatrix’s family can find comfort in knowing that the Kingdom of Heaven awaits Mediatrix. May they also find comfort in knowing that Hospice offers a person the chance for a dignified and honorable death when that time comes.
Father we commend Mediatrix into Your loving care as she goes into the hospice after her long and serious illness. We ask You to console Mediatrix and ease her suffering . Please give comfort to her children, and her whole family. I commend them all, her son in particular, to Your loving care, as the inevitable loss looms, for though we each must die, it isn’t easy for those who love us.
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen
Continued prayers for your intentions….
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.
Lord Jesus, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for help. Amen
