Prayer Request

#1

Our prayer group- Upper Room Prayer Group is dying. Please pray for our leader, the deacon to have more time to devote to us and that those core members who have been ill will be restored to the group in good health and that new members, esp a music minister,
will join us. We must be rejuvenated.

Also I belong to a healing ministry which has been disbanded.

Pray we will gather together again under new leadership and help comfort those who come for prayer.

My husband and I are returning north for the summer. Pray that we have a safe trip to and fro and that our time there will be healthy for us and that we will be of use to the Lord
and that He will give us guidance.
God bless you for your prayers.

It is painful when ones prayer group begins to lose direction and strength. May God bless, inspire and give strength to your deacon, May God grant that those core members who have been ill will be restored to the group in good health;
and that new members, including a music minister, will join you.

Perhaps both effort, and prayer for discernment ,will reveal that in giving the remaining members some time alone, God is probably giving the rest of you time, and graces (that each of you may not be recognising) to offer new strength to your group. Remember the loaves and the fishes, what Jesus did with the little He had available. Don’t doubt that He is offering graces in these changed circumstances. Maybe it’s time for the rest of you to blossom more richly!

Through a deepening and renewal of the remaining members of your prayer group, God grant that you will gather together again in God’s grace and power, to give inspiration and comfort those who come for prayer.

God bless your husband and you husband in the north for the summer. God grant you a safe trip to and fro and renewed health and may you both grow in spiritual strength and as His instruments.
God bless you both

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death
Amen.

I ask God to inspire remaining members, both the effort, and prayer for discernment in this gift of time God is giving the rest of you time, and graces (that each of you may not be recognising) to offer new strength so that the rest of you to blossom more richly!

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
