Prayers desprately needed for dying Grandfather

Please keep my Grandfather and my family in your prayers today.

I just recieved word that he was heading to the local medical center via helicopter. He has been sick with pneumonia for the last few days and finally coded this afternoon.

My father (my grandfather’s son) is in remote Argentina on buisness and will also need prayers as he makes his way back to the States if something should happen.

With a sad heart…

I am sorry. Please let me say my Chaplet of Divine Mercy for him.

I’ll remember all in my prayers…

We live up Shiann’s Grandfather for your healing and protection.

Prayers going up.God Bless:gopray:

Prayers here too.

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give your angels charge over those who sleep.

Tend your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest your weary ones.
Bless your dying ones.
Soothe your suffering ones.
Pity your afflicted ones.
Shield your joyous ones.
And for all your love’s sake. Amen.

Dear friend

I will keep you all in my prayers and remember you all before the Blessed Sacrament

God Bless you and much love and peace to you

Thank you everyone for such thoughtfull posts. I appreciate every prayer that has been/will be said for Grandfather.

Apparently while he was in the hospital being treated for his pneumonia, he suffered an aneurism. He was operated on, and the operation itself was a success. Now he is in an induced coma until the early part of next week. I think everything is stable with him so far.

As I stated in my earlier post, my father is in Argentina on business, and is working on getting home in case something happens. The rest of the family is at Grandfather’s side, and I know my dad desprately wants to be there as well.

So, if I might be so bold, I wish to ask for prayers for my Dad as well, that he finds an easy solution to accomplishing the business in Argentina, and getting home to his Mom and Dad. And for his safe passage as he makes these rushed travel plans.

Thanks again for your prayers.

What a week.

Grandfather passed away last Sunday morning. He was surrounded by four of his 5 sons and their entire families. Everyone was able to say a goodbye, and he passed peacefully.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for my family, and those who included nice comments. They are much appreciated.

Our Father in Heaven
Holy be Your Name
Your Kingdom come
Your Will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us
Do not bring us to the test
But deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary, full of grace!
The Lord is with you
Blessed are you among women
And Blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death.

Glory be to the Father,
And to the Son,
And to the Holy Spirit.

As it was in the beginning
Is now and ever shall be
World without end.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon him.

May he rest in peace.

May the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end
