Prayers for a drug & alcohol addicted friend & mother

#1

Please pray for my dear friend Lucille. She is a drug and alcohol addicted single mother of 2 beautiful children who are suffering. She has lost her way and I feel like I have done all that I can do for her besides pray. I pray that she will open her eyes and see what she has done to her life and her children! I pray that she will make the right decisions for herself and her family and will get herself clean! She was born and raised Catholic, her children are being raised Catholic, to the best of her ability, but she is not practicing herself. I pray that she comes back to the church and that she will eventually come back to her friends and family. I pray for her to be a good mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. We all love Lucille and want her to get well. I am no longer in her life because I do not know this sick person that she has become. I pray that my friend some day returns to me. If it takes years for her to return it is OK. I will be here waiting for your return. I just pray that her children are always watched over and kept safe while the person I knew and loved is gone. :gopray2:

Dear Amy, I am sad for your friend and her children.
I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers, asking the Lord to heal and care for Lucille and her children; and asking His Mother to intercede for her to be a good mother, and to nurture her children with wisdom and a healed spirit.

Praying hard.

Lord, please heal Lucille in mind, body, and spirit. Open her heart to receive your graces and to walk the narrow way that leads to salvation. Help her children always be protected and provided for. Watch over this family, Lord, and grant them the graces they need to get through this difficult time in Lucille’s life. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen

For your intentions

Continued prayers……

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Lord Jesus, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for help. Amen

“If God brings it to you- God will bring you through it.”
