Prayers for a friend

A good friend of mine is in the ICU, septic with e.coli in the bloodstream. She’s been in the hospital for awhile with pancreatitis and pulmonary embolisms, came home yesterday, only to return to the hospital with in hours. She’s is on a ventilator and sedated. Three of her four children are being let in to see her (a nurse friend says this is not a good sign at all) before she has surgery to remove a cyst on her pancreas, which should be starting now. The only one not being let in is the baby, who was born premature this past July and they don’t want to expose her to any nasty germs.

Please pray for Cari to get through surgery and to get strong!!

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen!

Praying for your friend.

She made it through surgery but is still very, very sick. They left her open cause they anticipate doing more surgeries soon. She is on supportive care, but there is nothing else they can do.

Prayers still needed urgently! Thank you.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen!

Praying for your intentions….

Lord Jesus, You have said,
“Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart.”
With confidence in Your loving heart
which offers rest to weary souls,
we come to You in this time of special need.
In Your unfailing love,
read the prayer that is written on our hearts,
and grant the grace that we ask of You,
in accordance with Your holy will.
In Your name we pray.
Amen.

Praying my heart out for Cari’s complete recovery.
