Prayers for mentally ill ex boyfriend

I stumbled across this site when I googled “Prayers for mentally ill loved one” and saw a similar prayer request that someone had posted.
I was in a relationship with a guy who showed me love and understanding for the first time in years. Unfortunately very soon into the relationship some very troubling behaviours arose including explosive outbursts of anger, accusations, suspicions and verbal abuse. He blamed it on anxiety and depression for which he’s been on meds for years. He also blamed his upbringing citing his Dad’s frequent cheating on his mother and how she had warned him and sister to “never trust men” Often these abusive episodes would come hand in hand with alcohol which meant I stopped going out and isolated myself to a certain extent to avoid situations in which his anger could be triggered. Sadly his difficult behaviours still would appear. Friends lost their patience with him and had bust ups with him. He was trying to get me to move out of my apartment and in with him which would have isolated me further. After another abusive episode I ended the relationship. That was three months ago and we’ve maintained sporadic yet limited contact. At the weekend he got drunk and messaged me asking for a lift home which I did and in the car proceeded to tell me how much I had hurt him and that if I had loved him I would have stuck by him and supported him with his issues. But I believe that nobody should have to stick by their partner if they’re the victim of emotional and verbal abuse. Don’t you? Since the breakup I’ve come to realise that he probably suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder. He had a turbulent and difficult childhood and his behaviour bears all the hallmarks of BPD.
Nevertheless I still love and care for him and want him to achieve inner peace and harmony. Could you please pray for him that he may achieve this either miraculously or that he has the awareness and the courage to seek professional help? And please pray that I achieve peace too as I’m still not emotionally sound again following this turbulent and emotionally draining relationship.

A Prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes for the Mentally Ill

The righteous cry out, the Lord hears
and He rescues them from all their afflictions.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted,
saves those whose spirit is crushed.
Psalm 34:18-20

Merciful God, You are always near to us, especially when
we are weak, suffering, and vulnerable. Please reach out
to those who experience mental illness, especially Marty’s
former boyfriend, for whom this prayer is offered. Grant
him the insight to recognize his negative behavior and
to seek professional help. Send Your holy angels
to protect Marty from any danger. We ask this through
the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes and in the name
of her Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Marty’s
mentally ill ex boyfriend). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Marty’s
mentally ill ex boyfriend’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Thankyou

If He is sane enough not to abuse his mother or a stranger in the road, then he is sane enough not to abuse you.

Clearly he is just using you as a punchbag.
So you MUST leave immediately.
Don’t use Mental illness is not an excuse that he has right any sort abuse in you.

Please do pray for peace and stability.
Pater noster, qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua,
sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
sed libera nos a malo.

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Holy Mary
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
