Prayers for My Family

#1

Again I must ask for your prayers. I have four daughters and each of them have had serious medical issues. All the problems are different. I have always taken everyones problems in my life on my shoulders. I am getting very tired and keep asking our Lord to lift these heavy burdens from me.

I do all I can to help, but I know that only Christ can heal my children. Since I have no one to share these burdens with I really need all the prayers I can get. I would like to see joy in my family as I see in others.

I realize that many many others carry a heavy load in this life and pray for them.

Thank you all again. You have all been so kind with all my former requests.

God Bless you all.

Yours in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary

Bernadette

**Father, please hear the prayers we offer up for this family. Hold up this mother as she struggles with the health issues of her daughters. Hold up these 4 daughters and give them strength to overcome their health problems. We Trust in you Jesus!
AMEN

Oh merciful Lord, please grant a gift to Bernadette. May You bless her with the gift of a “Simon the Cyrene,” to help her carry her cross. Hear her prayers as she calls to you by Your side on the cross. Heal her daughters and loved ones of all physical and spiritual affliction. Mary, pray with us. Amen. :harp:

Heavenly Father, hold these women in your hands and heal them, please, dear Jesus, let it be your will to take their pain away…Amen

Dear Bernadette,

A Jesuit once said to me, “You are just a little ant, and if you try to carry too much you will be crushed. Just choose one thing, and do that.” And another, “Only serve at the tables that God wishes you to serve.” I don’t follow that advice very well, so periodically become overwhelmed. I know what you mean.

My heart goes to you regarding your daughters. One’s children, sometimes the crown of thorns around your heart. What wakes you up in the middle of the night with raw pain.

I’ll keep you and your daughters in all my prayers and daily Masses.

Love, Trishie

Novena Prayer to
St. Anthony of Padua

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints,
your love for God and Charity for his creatures,
made you worthy, when on earth, to possess
miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your
word, which you were ever ready to speak
for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this,
I implore for you to obtain for me
[medical and financial assistance; cures for all ills]
The answer to my prayers may require a miracle.
Ever so, you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle
and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full
of human sympathy, whisper my petition into
the ears of thy Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved
to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude
of my heart will be ever yours,
Amen

Lord, Bernadette is suffering along with her children and the pain is beginning to make her feel overwhelmed. Come Holy Spirit, unleash all of Your fruits and gifts in Bernadette. Grant her perseverence, forbearance and fortitude. Put good people in her life to help her. May she find refuge visiting Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament with her children. Maybe she could pray the rosary with her family every night and draw graces from you that way. I feel so badly for Bernadette. She is really trying, but she has a lot to bear. May she always suffer with Jesus and unite her sufferings to his and offer it up for souls. That way her suffering will be redemptive and won’t go to waste. Within her is the trinity. May she always feel God within her and draw strength from this comfort. Jesus, be with Bernadette and lessen her burden a little by offering her Your strength and peace. Amen.

I want to thank everyone for all the prayers. God does give me strength and has brought all of you into my life, which is a blessing. Also I meet up with strangers at times who pray with me.

It is strange that workmen who come into my home end up praying for me, but I know that God has sent them. Some are Catholic and some aren’t, but prayer is prayer and the last one who came to my house and who prayed with me was open to my telling him what the Church really believes. Whether he is open to Christ’s true Church or not at least I feel that our Lord has given me an opportunity to be a witness for Him.

Again may our Lord Bless you all for being so faithful to my family and me in our needs.

Yours in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary

Bernadette
