prayers for my family...

i could use prayer for the next several days for my family- specifically my husband's job (always a prayer request for this one) since it is coming to the end of the school year and contracts are being decided on (his position could be cut at any time)

AND my job, as i am working very hard to get things done and accomplished and feel like i am not doing very well at it. plus i wonder about decisions that i make...

and for our kids that they stay healthy and happy and that we are blessed with a life on earth long enough to see them grow up. and finally for safety in our lives that we will always be protected from danger, financial dispair, legal issues, or personal legal inflictions...

Lord, please meet the spiritual and temporal needs of this family and help them to carry their crosses courageously, patiently and lovingly. Please bless and protect them and do not let catastrophe befall them. Please grant them strength, courage, peace, serenity, the deepest faith, surrender to your holy will and abandonment to your divine providence. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.

Praying for your intentions….

Lord Jesus, You have said, "Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart." With confidence in Your loving heart which offers rest to weary souls, we come to You in this time of special need. In Your unfailing love, read the prayer that is written on our hearts, and grant the grace that we ask of You, in accordance with Your holy will. In Your name we pray. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother, to thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate! Despise not my petitions, but, in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
