Prayers for safety

#1

Hi,

So I’m in this week-long intensive therapy program before I go back to work next week. (It’s helpful!) In today’s group there was a young man struggling with physical pain, depression, and marital problems. He’s going to be alone over the week of Thanksgiving and I’m a little worried about how he might handle that. I can’t give his name or any other details, but please offer a prayer for his healing and his safety next week when he’s on his own.

Thank you!

Peace,
Francesca

Jesus please give him grace to turn to You in his loneliness and need.
Please inspire a caring friend or family to welcome and include him.
Please help him to find companionship and structure for his life.
Surround him with Your light and love,
him, and all in his situation.
Thank You, Jesus

Hail, Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death.Amen

AMEN!!!

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell,
lead all souls to heaven, especially, those in most need of Your Mercy.
Amen

Lord, please help this man to cling fast to you and allow him to feel your presence in a special way on Thanksgiving. Heal and comfort him at this lonely time for him and if you could put someone in his life to invite him for Thanksgiving dinner, that would be a real blessing. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Thank you all. He seems like a very nice guy, and although all of us there are obviously dealing with something, I instantly started being particularly concerned about him. I think he will be spending the afternoon of Thanksgiving with his family of origin while his nuclear family is away, but I hope he manages to get through the days leading up to and following without falling into a deeper depression or doing something rash.

Peace,
Francesca

Hail Holy Queen
Mother of mercy
hail our life our sweetness and our hope
to thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve
to thee do we send up our sighs
mourning and weeping in this vale of tears

Turn then O Most gracious advocate
thin eyes of mercy towards us
and after this our exile
show unto us the blessed fruits
of thy womb,Jesus

O Clement O Loving O sweet Virgin Mary
pray for us O Holy Mother of God
that we may be made worthy of the promises
of Christ
Amen
