In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

St. Michael the archangel defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray and do thou O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Many of us are grateful for the sacrifice your cousin is willing to make for his fellow citizens.

Of course, I will remember him in my prayers today, and I will say a Rosary for him as well.

And the following…

Prayer to the Sacred Heart:

Oh Sacred Heart of Jesus,
filled with Infinite Love;
broken by our ingratitude
and pierced by our sins; yet
loving us still; accept the
consecration we make to Thee
of all that we are and all that we have.

Take every faculty of our
souls and bodies, only day by
day draw us nearer and
nearer to Thy Sacred Heart;
and there as we shall hear
the lesson, teach us Thy
Holy Way.

Prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

O Most Blessed Mother, heart
of love, heart of mercy, ever
listening, caring, consoling, hear
our prayer. As your children, we
implore your intercession with
Jesus your Son

Receive with understanding and
compassion the petitions we place
before you today, especially we ask
for the safekeeping and safe return of
Joe Adam Martinez, who has been called to
serve his country in a time of war.
May your intercessions - Blessed Mother

  • keep him safe and may your
loving prayers bring him safely home
    to his family and friends.

We are comforted in knowing
your heart is ever open to those
who ask for your prayer.

We trust to your gentle care and
intercession, those whom we love
and who are sick or lonely or
hurting. Help all of us, Holy
Mother to bear our burdens in this
life - especially Joe - until we all may
share eternal life and peace
with God forever.

Amen.
