Praying for discernment at work

I would appreciate your prayers for me over the next few days. The school where I work (non-Catholic) is running Pride events and heavily promoting it/encouraging participation. I foresee situations where I’ll be challenged and face difficult situations. Courage and standing up strong really isn’t one of my strong suits :stuck_out_tongue: so I would appreciate your prayers.

St. John Paul II, pray for us.
:gopray:

Holy Spirit please guide stignatius in everything regarding this matter, and bless and protect the children and staff from anything that is unpleasing to the Father.

Lord, please grant stignatius powerful graces during this trying time at work. Instill in this soul a profound and perhaps even surprising capacity, by your grace, to uphold the faith and to quickly and honestly react to any situation in accord with the Father’s merciful will. Shine heaven’s light through stignatius and otherwise on all souls champion any sinful activity or fictional institution opposed to the true teachings of the holy Church. Grant stignatius many graces for faith, hope, love, and joy always, to help travers this temporal pilgrimage all the way to the eternal garden of relief. May justice prevail in this situation and always. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.

Praying for you and all those involved.

I am definitely praying that God Blesses you with the confidence, wisdom, and strength to comfortably participate

If you have any sick days, I would definitely use them to avoid having to participate in any way. Praying for your protection.

And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Thank you for your prayers. I greatly appreciate them and definitely feel their strength. I’ll let you know how it goes after today. :gopray:

Praying for you.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,

St. Thérèse of Liseux Prayer From “Story of A Soul”

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones,
and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.

Amen. †

Lord, thank you that you are with me right now.
Your love surpasses all fear.
I give you the anxiety I feel.
I surrender all my worries to you.
Clear my mind;
Calm my heart;
Still my Spirit;
Relax my being, that, I may
always glorify you in everything
I write, speak and do.

Amen. †

Jesus, Help Me

In every need let me come to Thee with humble trust, saying,
Jesus, help me!

In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations,
Jesus, help me!

In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials,
Jesus, help me!

In the failure of my plans and hopes; in disappointments, troubles and sorrows,
Jesus, help me!

When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good come from my efforts,
Jesus, help me!

When others fail me, and Thy grace alone can assist me,
Jesus, help me!

When I throw myself on Thy tender love as Father and Savior,
Jesus, help me!

When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me,
Jesus, help me!

When sickness and loneliness overcome me,
Jesus, help me!

Always, in weakness, falls and shortcomings of every kind,
Jesus, help me and never forsake me.

Thank You, dear Lord Jesus.

Amen. †

Sweet Heart of Jesus, be my love.
Sweet Heart of my Jesus, grant that I may always love You more.
Heart of Jesus, burning with love for us, set our hearts on fire with love of You.
Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like Your Heart.

Amen. †

Prayers said. All will be well. Do not fear, the Lord is protecting you.
Do not be lonely, your guardian angel is beside you.
Be comforted, Mother will watch over you, and the
Holy Spirit will guide you.

Thank You, dear Lord Jesus.

Amen. †

:signofcross: :blessyou:

Lord Jesus, teach me to be generous;
teach me to serve You as You deserve;
to give and not count the cost;
to fight and not to heed the wounds;
to toil and not to seek reward,
except that of knowing that I do Your will.
Amen.

Thank you again for your prayers. I was able to avoid any uncomfortable situations and participating in any of the events. When I went to adoration that night, I was able to offer the school and the students to Jesus in the Eucharist.

Thank you again! :gopray2:
