Pro-Choicers Bash Mother Theresa

Warning: This is going to tick you off. I know it did me. I have always admired Mother Theresa, and I thought it was impossible for anyone who knew anything about her not to.

Apparently I was wrong.

These are actual quotes taken from 2 seperate pro-choicers on this forum: www.prochoicetalk.com and I am posting these because I want to remind everyone yet again that pro-choicers are not friends to Catholics. These quotes were approved and one is even FROM the moderator, and there were no pro-choice people standing up for her. Not one.

[Q]Why would anybody give a **** what the opinion of the little strumpet from Calcutta was concerning horticulture (though I’m not surprised the first part of that discipline interested her).[/Q]

This nest one is from the “MODERATOR” over there who made a prolifer remove a Mother Theresa quote from her signature (the one about saying there are too many children being the same thing as saying there are too many flowers) and said THIS:

[Q]Equal,
I find your Mother Theresa quote offensive.
Mother Theresa is directly responsible for pushing irresponsible doctrines against birth control that lead to children starving in the streets.
She has NO credibility here.** I am well versed in the Catholic church’s long history of keeping the lower classes down in the guise of “respecting life.” **So spare us the dribble from a woman who had fun with liminality while poor people suffered in her country.
Also I am quite sure that in your comfortable little existence you know absolutely nothing about the VERY REAL problems poor countries with excessive birth rates face: poverty, disease, crime, war, ect. ect.
Also, babies grow up and use resources. Tell me nursy, how would you feel if all the little flowers of the world demanded the same resources as we do over here? What would happen to our Earth? Please spare me the “there’s no overpop problems” The only reason you can say this is because other countries are not industrialized but rather mired in poverty largely as a result of out of control birth rates. Pretty convenient for us don’t you think? Perhaps this is the real reason why we cut funding for the UN population fund?
More people=more wars for oil.
Oh but that’s ok with most prolifers.
Save an embryo===kill 100,000 Iraquis.

Just another example of how friggin out of touch with reality the liberals are…

I know, I always turn it back on them. Save a terrorist, kill 50 million babies.

Well it only reflects badly on them to speak of Mother Teresa in such a disrespectful fashion. No brains in evidence among any of them.

So sad - I think the second part gets to the heart of their argument. People are the problem, they use resources and abuse the planet. However, these same people are NEVER the problem, it’s everyone else.
Seems to me just a little  elitist and even racist when they complain about all the babies being born in third world nations, and no “they” don’t necessarily have babies just bc they are “illiterate” and don’t know better, most of these cultures actually cherish large families.
I guess none of these problems (poverty, illness, famine, etc.) ever happened when the population was under 5 bil. ?

Here’s one: Be a hero, save a whale. Save a baby, go to jail.

Utterly ludicrous.

Done - thank you for the links!!

Done. However, I’m not sure that hate-speech laws apply to the internet, as it is very hard to regulate. The internet server that hosts the website may however have some regulations against this type of thing, and they should definately be notified.

Done!!

I restrained myself from telling the idiots that thought this was funny, that I would like to chew them up & spit them out…I figured that wouldn’t :frowning: help. But it was tempting!!

A while back (and I don’t have a link) the FBI exercised a search warrant, entered the home of a hate poster, seized his computer, and arrested him. How’s that for hard to regulate? I don’t have the email address of the FBI and I have to go out on some errands. Can someone handle that?

Page for local branches:

fbi.gov/contact/fo/fo.htm

FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Call (202) 324-3000 or write to the following address:

Federal Bureau of Investigation
J. Edgar Hoover Building

Washington, D.C. 20535-0001

It says if you are out of the US contact the local US Embassy:

I contacted the FBI once already today, but I don’t know whether it will do any good. The person running this one perverse website is Dutch, but many of her cronies are American.

One of my teachers in high school once told me that freedom of speech, even including hate speech should be protected. When I asked him why he said something like because wouldn’t you rather know about them than go on your merry way thinking they don’t exist until it’s too late?

What do you guys think?

Done!!! How utterly sick and sad that there can be people so full of evil in the world. Nothing funny about that, it was truly disgusting. (why am I not surprised, considering the source it came from?)
I sure need to pray a lot more for my enemies.

Also done…Michael

Thank you all!

Whether it will do any good or not is not up to you to determine. It is up to the FBI. Hate promoters should be turned in. You never know what else they are up to or what affiliations they have made or what money trail they have left.

Like the Netherlands is a bastion of freedom.

Too late for what? Part of what hate promoters do is to promote. They need to go public to do that. Secondly I think your teacher’s claim is far too general. If the hate promoter is clearly off his or her rocker and just spouting off, then hey. If the hate promoter has enough influence to bring about directly or indirectly real harm, then the FBI need to know if only to keep these folks under observation.

By the way, a particularly effective tool against hate posters is to uncover the money trail. Who funds this Dutch poster? Are all his or her bills paid?
