Question about Orthodox icon of Panagia

Icon of the Panagia “That All May Be One” Patriotissa

Can someone who’s familiar with this icon tell me what the Theotokos/Blessed Mother is holding on her two hands? It says something in Greek above what I presume to be churches…

Next to the church on the left, it says, “St. Peter’s, Rome.” Next to the church on the right, it says, “Agia Sophia, Constantinople.”

Ahh…thank you!

Are the two men to left and right of Christ Saints Peter and Paul?

If anyone is interested, I found it from this blog: Mystagogy (the author is Orthodox)
