I’ve seen it referred to as a “preserved master tablet” but also the “mother of all books”.

It is from quran, you find like 2 or 3 verses about this topic…i will quote them later in case you did not find them.

sorry i forgot about this thread for a while:

[85:21-22] Indeed, it is a glorious Quran. In a preserved master tablet.

any elaboration?

Yes the Quran is in a preserved tablet in the heavens, as is everything else. We believe everything is in that tablet, me and you, the birds, the trees, when a leaf falls 100 years from now, how many times it will turn before it hits the floor, where it lands, my thoughts, your feelings etc. Everything is in that book. It is a geat creation from God’s creation. This book isn’t because Allah forgets:

020.052
He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,-

Also this book is called a book that is mubeen, mubeen means great and clear. When a human looks at a book, he knows what’s in the beginning and not the end, however to Allah it is all clear. Also don’t think this book is a book like the ones me and you have, it is above our dimension and we can’t imagine what it looks like, if it contains all creations in it, it certainly isn’t an ordinary book.

Allah knows best.

This means Quran is preserved in its original language, Arabic.

#15

[quote=murtad]This means Quran is preserved in its original language, Arabic.

No it doesn’t, I have explained what it means.

#16

[quote=Emad]Yes the Quran is in a preserved tablet in the heavens, as is everything else

which quran may i ask? the one with vowels orwithout? with abrogated verse or not?

. We believe everything is in that tablet, me and you, the birds, the trees, when a leaf falls 100 years from now, how many times it will turn before it hits the floor, where it lands, my thoughts, your feelings etc. Everything is in that book. It is a geat creation from God’s creation

first, where did you get this interpretation from? second: do you mean that everything is pre-destined?

This book isn’t because Allah forgets:

020.052
He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,-

what do you explain the abrogated verses in quran if not forgetfullness or erring?

Also this book is called a book that is mubeen, mubeen means great and clear

. When a human looks at a book, he knows what’s in the beginning and not the end, however to Allah it is all clear. but this book is for humans not for Allah…so it must be clear to humans not to Allah…it is a book mubeen in clear arabis “so that ALL can understand”…do you think the quran is understood by ALL?

Also don’t think this book is a book like the ones me and you have, it is above our dimension and we can’t imagine what it looks like, if it contains all creations in it, it certainly isn’t an ordinary book.

how does it contain everything specifically?

PS: do you know arabic?

which quran may i ask? the one with vowels orwithout? with abrogated verse or not?

The Quran is the Quran, it is the word of Allah. Don’t think of that book as a physical book. If the Quran was recorded on a tape recorder, you won’t know if the person was reciting from the Quran with vowels or without.

first, where did you get this interpretation from? second: do you mean that everything is pre-destined?

I got this interpretation from the Quran itself and from hadith. It is also the interpretation of the scholars of tafsir. Everything was written down before it happens, however I will not discuss pre-destination with you here. It is not the topic and I don’t want to get into it.

what do you explain the abrogated verses in quran if not forgetfullness or erring?

So to you the OT is forgetfullness and errors? Or is it abrogated? Abrogated verses are very few in the Quran, 2-4 I believe. Anyhow they were revealed for specific times and circumstances and some scholars say if those circumstances return those verses can be used. Such as the abbrogated verses on alcohol.

but this book is for humans not for Allah…
No it’s not for humans. The book I am talking about is not the Quran. It is a book in the heavens that contains in it all things, including the Quran.

do you think the quran is understood by ALL?

No it is not understood by all, had that been the case you wouldn’t have asked any questions about it right?

how does it contain everything specifically?

I don’t know, it’s in the world of the unseen. Do you believe angels write down your deeds?

PS: do you know arabic?

Yes and I also have the entire Quran memorized by heart.

but you did not answer my question…the recitation is due to the adding of vowels and marks that did not exist before and to which muslim scholars admit there are some verses with more than a dozen reading…and what about the abrogated verses? were they on the tablet as well?

I got this interpretation from the Quran itself and from hadith. It is also the interpretation of the scholars of tafsir. Everything was written down before it happens, however I will not discuss pre-destination with you here. It is not the topic and I don’t want to get into it.

your answer implies a 100% predestination…yes or no?

what do you explain the abrogated verses in quran if not forgetfullness or erring?

So to you the OT is forgetfullness and errors? Or is it abrogated? Abrogated verses are very few in the Quran, 2-4 I believe. Anyhow they were revealed for specific times and circumstances and some scholars say if those circumstances return those verses can be used. Such as the abbrogated verses on alcohol.

the Old law is called old for a reason…new covenant vs old covenant…no abrogation…the NT reveals the final truth , that is to understand the Bible you must read it’s end which shows the whole truth…the OT is the process, the NT is the end that reveals the truth.

but this book is for humans not for Allah…
No it’s not for humans. The book I am talking about is not the Quran. It is a book in the heavens that contains in it all things, including the Quran.

i was refering to quran…as to other book, is it a tablet or some mystic stuff?

do you think the quran is understood by ALL?

No it is not understood by all, had that been the case you wouldn’t have asked any questions about it right?

right, so why does the quran say : a quran i clear arabic to be understood by all?

how does it contain everything specifically?

I don’t know, it’s in the world of the unseen. Do you believe angels write down your deeds?

no why should they? God knows without the help of angels.

is this tablet eternal or what? please later give some proof.thx

PS: do you know arabic?

Yes and I also have the entire Quran memorized by heart.

:)great  are you willing to discuss this with me?

This is the claim made by Muslims. In reality, Uthman detroyed the original and then collated his own version of the Quran, and passed it off as the true one. Now, how can we be sure that what Uthman calimed is true when the original is nowhere to be found?

but you did not answer my question…the recitation is due to the adding of vowels and marks that did not exist before and to which muslim scholars admit there are some verses with more than a dozen reading…and what about the abrogated verses? were they on the tablet as well?

The above paragraph shows that you have no idea what you are talking about. The recitation is the same, the arabs knew the marks and vowels, they were only added for non-Arabs to make it easier for them to read. For example, if in English I say “The boy is sleeping on the bd” since you know english from the context you know that it is bed and not bid or bud or bad. This is how it was for the arabs, the non-arabs didn’t know, thus vowels and marks were added there, but the sound is still the same.

As for more than the dozen readings, they existed in the time of the Prophet peace be upon him and still exist today and are all correct. The Prophet peace be upn him confirmed them himself.

The abrogated verses are still in the Quran today, so yes they are in the tablet as well.

the Old law is called old for a reason…new covenant vs old covenant…no abrogation…the NT reveals the final truth , that is to understand the Bible you must read it’s end which shows the whole truth…the OT is the process, the NT is the end that reveals the truth.

This is what we call abrogation my friend, the meaning is the same.

i was refering to quran…as to other book, is it a tablet or some mystic stuff?

The Quran is for humans. The other book is called a book or a tablet, however it is not a four dimensional tablet.

right, so why does the quran say : a quran i clear arabic to be understood by all?

Where does it say that? Please when you say the Quran says something, list the verse.

great are you willing to discuss this with me?

No I am not, for numerous reasons, first is the title, there is no such thing as Muhammadanism and anyone who still thinks that there is isn’t worth talking to. Second I have a life, I go to school full time and have a part time job and I have enough threads on this forum to debate things on. I am looking for serious learners, not bashers.
