At the end of this prayer, “Glory be to the Father…”, what does “world without end” mean, exactly?

I’ve read that it’s an archaic rendering of “saecula saeculorum,” which is usually translated as “forever and ever” or as “for ages unto ages” in modern English. So basically you’re saying “Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, forever and ever.”
