Recommended text books for self-study?

This is for personal growth and knowledge. I am not currently seeking a vocation in religious life, though I have developed an interest. Even so, I thought the vocations board would be a good place to start given many of you wipp have studied.

What textbooks did you use in the study of theology, church history, moral theology, philosophy, study of scripture, and any other subjects you have studied? First, second, third year… etc… Thank you in advance for your input.

The Summa Theologica by St. Thomas Aquinas
Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma by Dr. Ludwig Ott
Religious Vocation: An Unnecessary Mystery Paperback by Rev. Fr. Richard Butler O.P.

Check amazon.com or Tan to check out these books. Its all I can recommend with my limited knowledge.
