Rock & Roll Metro Map

Pretty interesting. The author (cartographer?) doesn’t include Elvis – Rock starts with the Beatles and their line, Pop Rock, has died out.

pop rock certainly hasnt died out lol, for better or worse, you make the call. :stuck_out_tongue:

Interesting, but not very informative, since it doesn’t include solo acts.

They’re missing so many of the greats…

Bo Diddley
Buddy Holly
Buddy Guy
Jimi Hendrix
Eric Clapton/Cream/Yardbirds
Tom Petty
Muddy Waters
Bob Dylan
John Lee Hooker
Wilson Pickett
Janis Joplin
Neil Young/Crosby/Stills/Nash
Frank Zappa
Jefferson Airplane
The Byrds
Creedence Clearwater
Grateful Dead
Allman Brothers
Bruce Springsteen
Stevie Ray Vaughn

are you serious??
what is a poster of “rock and roll” bands doing on a catholic website??
it started out when the anti-christ was said to be arriving on earth by Our Lady of La Salette
Rock artists such as Elvis and the beatles admitted that the devil had helped them and John Lennon claimed that the beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ.
they mislead all the younger generations and thats one of the reasons why the world is such a mess today…

please take it down.

God bless

I’d love to hear Elvis who was a devout Christian admit the Devil helped him along. John Lennon certainly wasn’t any fan of organised religion and to be honest the man could be an obnoxious guy for all his undoubted talent but the infamous quote about the Beatles been more popular than Jesus is often woefully misunderstood.

Awesome taste in music!
