This is what is so completely insane about abortion in this country: "Wantedness"
If you don't "want" the baby, you can easily and LEGALLY go to any abortionist and have him kill the child before it's born.
If you DO "want" the baby, and someone stabs you and in the process kills the unborn child, they go to prison.

Either way, the result is the same: 2 dead babies. One killer is protected by law, the other is not.

What's wrong with this picture? (sarcasm)

It seems does seem a bit strange, although in Iowa a woman was charged with attempted feticide for deliberately throwing herself down a set of stairs in an attempt to lose the child. However, in that case charges were dropped because she wasn't past the sixth month of pregnancy (she had thought she was) and Iowa's law only applies to the third trimester.

But Utah is apparently planning a strict law which would have imprisoned Taylor.

As for the California case, the Sacramento Bee is saying that the fetal murder charge is rarely used.
