Saint's name pronounciation?

I wonder if anyone can give me an idea of how to pronounce Saint Thais’ name. The name sometimes crops up as Thaisia or Thaisis, but I’m mainly looking for the pronounciation of the Thais variation.

bump

I have heard it pronounced Ta ees. At least that was how they pronounced it in the opera we saw in Chicago.

Thanks a lot!

I’ve listened to a couple of performances of translations of FRANÇOIS VILLON’s poem “Ballade of the Ladies of Time Past,” and the consensus pronunciation seems to be [thä-ēs]. Thanks again!
