Sanders on abortion

On Saturday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.)—the longest-serving politically independent member of Congress in U.S. history—said that support for abortion “is an absolutely essential part of being a Democrat.”

So that leaves any of us who might have considered being Democrats, out of the party. Not that we didn’t know this previously.

The modern democratic party. Big tent indeed.

If black women get abortions, it’s racism. If white women get abortions, it’s white genocide. You can’t please everyone.

Way to miss the point. The Democrats claim to represent a big tent party, yet people who don’t support a woman’s right to choose are not welcome, says Bernie.

But please post some more irrelevant graphs about white folks. I like that shade of purple.

I responded to what you posted.

Perhaps you would like to reconsider what your post in light of what it objectively conveys.

Sadly, if you oppose legally killing both black and white children in the womb, you have no place in the Democratic party.

Sounds like great folks to align with.

I’ve never heard of white genocide. A much higher percentage of black women get abortions than whites. It is racism on Planned Parenthood’s part, since their founder said black people were weeds that needed eradicating.

Just matching the upper case, and italics, in your post.

Bernie caucuses with the Democrats but he doesn’t want to be one, for what it’s worth.

Well, he is seeking to be the flag bearer for the national party. That kind of counts for something. But if you want to defend him or what he said vis-a-vis being a Democrat, go ahead.

I don’t know about that. It seems like a lot of Trump supporters are defending Bernie.

I see it more as just highlighting the fact that the corrupt DNC seems to be doing everything in its power to Not have Bernie as the nominee. To be honest, i have a hard time blaming them for doing so. He is essentially using the Democrat Party to “get to the top”. Nobody likes being used. On the other hand, there is really not a dimes worth of difference between Bernie and the other Dem candidates, he is just more open about being Socialist. The DNC would prefer that their candidate at least try to hide it and hiding his love of socialism is not something Bernie is going to do.
