Sarah Palin’s Husband Todd Injured In ‘Serious’ Snowmobile Accident
Sarah Palin canceled a scheduled Florida campaign stop for Donald Trump following her husband Todd’s involvement in a snowmobile accident on Sunday, March 14.
According to NBC News, Todd, 51, was injured in a “very serious” crash late last night and is currently hospitalized in intensive care. A source revealed to the outlet that former Alaska governor Sarah will be traveling back to her home state today to be with the commercial fisherman, who she married in 1988 and has five children with.
In a statement, Trump’s campaign said: “Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine accident last night and is currently hospitalized. Governor Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband and looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon. Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time.”
** Florida event with Palin canceled, Trump campaign says **
WASHINGTON, March 14 (Reuters) - Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin canceled a campaign event for Republican front-runner Donald Trump on Monday after her husband was involved in a snow machine accident in Alaska, the Trump campaign said.
The former Alaska governor, who has endorsed the Republican candidate, was scheduled to campaign for Trump in The Villages, Florida.
“Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine accident last night and is currently hospitalized,” Trump’s campaign said. “Governor Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband and looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon. Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time.”
This story is just coming out. We don’t know the extent of the accident, some stories I see make me think it could be fairly bad.
Prayers for the family and prayers for a recovery.
