Sarkozy says Britain should manage asylum seekers on its own territory reut.rs/2btrxDI
I thought UN policy was to detain seeks on the first border they cross, it’s a good policy so long as the international community pitches in to help (which they do).
Australia keeps them offshore on Manus Island , an Island off Papua New Guinea ,
Offers Asylum seekers free transport to their home country,
A Harsh Policy that seems to be working ,any alternitive would create a flood that our Government stopped, Offshore Detention works much better than setting up camps everywhere
How do you vet asylum seekers if they are already in Britain?
The best thing would be to vet them before they leave a place of temporary refuge near their original country.
If illegals from central and south america were kept by Mexico, the flood would quickly stop.
The strategy in Australia has proven quite effective.
