Scrappy's New Playmate----St Francis!

#1

So, Scrappy (the dog that someone dropped off here) has decided that my two St. Francis statues are his new play pals. He has taken the one in front of the house and put a hole through it and took the one by the pasture and also put a big hole in that one too. Needless to say, I will need a new St. Francis statue eventhough he is the Baptist evangalist magnet ;).

How to dispose of these statues. Can I just throw them away since they were never blessed ?

Mods, I don't know if this is the correct forum for this or not.

Since they were never blessed, you may dispose of them as you desire.

Personally, I would dig a big hole and bury them… One of the proper ways to dispose of a blessed item. (Even though is hasn’t been blessed, I would treat it as a representation of a Holy Man of God.)

Thanks so much Will. I will follow your advice and give the statues a burial.
