Is the age of one’s spiritual director important? I heard that when we choose a SD or a regular confessor we should go with those who have more experience, but is this directly liked to the age of the priest?
And also, for a young women, let’s say, having a young SD could be a problem in the sense that they may become too attached to each other? Before, this case was seen almost as a scandal, do you think it still applies today?

The most important thing when choosing a spiritual director is that they be holy. Look for virtues such as kindness, understanding, patience, etc. If you are lucky enough to have found a spiritual director, congrats!
