Share a Favorite Contemporary Christian Song, please

A local Parish Group of Contemporary Christian Music Kids performed a version of the song below tonight. It was the first time I had heard it, and they really did a good job of it. Was wondering if others would be up to sharing other favorite Contemporary Christian pieces?

Hoping you enjoy!

Theocracy is a christian power metal band. This is the song that made me a fan of them.

I liked a lot of Michael W. Smith’s older stuff. Also used to be a fan of Amy Grant’s music.

I like Nichole Nordeman a lot.

Lord, I Need You!

Unlike a lot of contemporary Christian songs, this one’s got sufficient low end

I really like this and the symbolism is great.

“Walking Her Home”, by Mark Schultz. Powerful!

Brian Flynn, one of the guys who sings on EWTN’s daily 3PM “Chaplet of Divine Mercy”, has several good Catholic song cds.

While it’s not one for which I care greatly, “My Story” by Big Daddy Weave is among the favorites of my brother, who is far more enamored of contemporary music than I.

My favorite is Carrie Underwood’s How Great Thou Art. I thought she did a great job!

He’s Alive ! by Don Francisco
