I have gone to confession in the past few months at a Latin Mass Church and a post-Vatican II church. At the latter, I confessed something and was slightly vague on exactly what it was. The priest didn’t press me further on it. I know when I have been vague while confessing at the Latin Mass Church, I have been asked to be specific. Should I confess the sin again with more specificity? Or would that be blasphemy/wrong since it would appear that I don’t believe in the forgiveness of confession from before (I do, of course).
Let it alone. The second Confession was valid and the sin was forgiven.
