Shroud of Turin

Anyone know any resource that gives the authencity of the Shroud of Turin.

The book, “A Doctor at Calvary” is very informative. Although the Church does not require one to believe that the Shroud of Turin is the burial cloth of Our Lord, the evidence is convincing.

The 1978 investigation is good, if you can find a report online.
The shroud has its own website also.

I liked Ian Wilson’s first book on the shroud: The Shroud of Turin: The Burial Cloth of Jesus Christ? because it gave an interesting and detailed review of the history of the shroud along with information supporting a first century date. This was written before the carbon 14 dating test, but it still has a lot of good information, and is worth a read, if you’re interested.

Ian Wilson also wrote a second book titled: The Blood and the Shroud: New Evidence that the World’s Most Sacred Relic is Real.
