Simply doubting

I was very anxious and ending hating my self. Then I say to my self:I will never eat anymore and not realizing that i cant fullfill it.Did I commit a mortal sin, eveytime I eat?

Not at all! Not eating would be the sin. If I tell myself that I will jump of tower, then do I commit a mortal sin by not doing it? Of course not!

Of course not. You must eat to live.

You should talk to your priest about all your concerns. Get his advise about making promises and what that means.

And no, you said something thoughtless. You must eat, so you’re not sinning.

If you are hating yourself, please get some counseling and help to sort out your feelings.

God bless.
