Sin and Communion

When I was in Mass today I was worried whether I was in a state of mortal sin. Upon further reflection and research, I’ve come to the conclusion that I didn’t mortally sin. But when I received Communion today I really thought/ feared that I might have but I received anyway. Was this wrong to do or am I just being scrupulous? Is is wrong to receive The Eucharist worrying you may be in a mortal sin, but arent really?

You didn’t do anything wrong. You were unsure, assuming you were in a state or grace, and you didn’t know any different. However I’d talk to a priest and see what he says, because this could be the beginning of a bit of scrupulosity, though I doubt that but it’s possible.
