SIS Leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi Trained by Israeli Mossad, NSA Documents Reveal

What do you think ???

globalresearch.ca/isis-leader-abu-bakr-al-baghdadi-trained-by-israeli-mossad-nsa-documents-reveal/5391593

The former employee at US National Security Agency (NSA), Edward Snowden, has revealed that the British and American intelligence and the Mossad worked together to create the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Snowden said intelligence services of three countries created a terrorist organisation that is able to attract all extremists of the world to one place, using a strategy called “the hornet’s nest”.

NSA documents refer to recent implementation of the hornet’s nest to protect the Zionist entity by creating religious and Islamic slogans.

According to documents released by Snowden, “The only solution for the protection of the Jewish state “is to create an enemy near its borders”.

Leaks revealed that ISIS leader and cleric Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi took intensive military training for a whole year in the hands of Mossad, besides courses in theology and the art of speech.

A mainstream examination of this story per the Tampa Bay Tribune Pundit Fact finds this rumor to be an absolute joke.

Rated: “Pants on Fire”

Our ruling

Middle Eastern publications have been circulating a rumor that Snowden’s NSA leak reveals “Operation Hornet’s Nest,” an American, British and Israeli plot to create the Islamic State to destabilize the Middle East.

This isn’t the first time Iranian publications have mischaracterized the Islamic State as an American creation, but it is the first time Snowden’s name has been attached. Sources with access to Snowden’s documents have directly refuted the hoax. The Islamic State started as an al-Qaida offshoot, and there’s no reason to believe otherwise.

We rate this claim Pants on Fire!

A really off the wall story from an off the wall website.

 thank you glad to here this, thought it sounded a little odd so I figured I’d post it to see what others had to say (or show) about it.

Any source which refers to Israel as “the Zionist entity” is antisemitic and should be disregarded.

Lol! I wouldn’t be so quick to write off the Snowden documents. Rather than giving the “Politifact” clowns any credence whatsoever, I would suggest reading the following article and its links:

Another telling fact to bear in mind is that President Obama has begun (officially, that is) conducting surveillance flights over Syria, likely in preparation for a US bombing campaign. So between the United States’ Central Intelligence Agency losing control of the radical Islamic shenanigans it started in the first place, and now Obama blatantly telegraphing his intent for all the world to see, the future is becoming clearer and clearer: Syria is next. A new war is on the immediate horizon; this is more or less how it always begins.

US conspiracy theory absurdity.

It is interesting that in Australia we are being told that Australia will now fly into Northern Iraq to bring U.S. munitions to the Kurdish fighters fighting the ISIS forces. There will also be SAS troops on the ground in an alliance with other countries. It is being discussed in Parliament right now, but has bipartisan support between the two major parties.
America may not be so open with its people.

As compared to who? Who sets the bar with transparency?

I haven’t looked at the Politifact story.

But the ultimate source for any of the web presence on this is an article from the Gulf Daily News in Bahrain, originally published on July 15.

Interestingly, Gulf Daily News does not cite any sources, nor do they provide any artifacts to back up their claims.

This provides an interesting study in how media stories can spin out of control and play into peoples’ pre-conceived ideas.

This also provides an interesting twist on how Muslim countries are reacting to the threat of IS recruitment within their own borders…including within Bahrain. Did you ever consider that this story might be a plant by a terrified Bahrain government to discourage ISIS recruitment in that country?

The U.S. gov has done and is doing similar and far worse things. So, that’s no stumbling block to believability. The question is, does it have at least a credible source or is it otherwise verifiable? If not, then it is just a rumor. The Snowden docs are well known. If this were true, we should have gotten confirmation.

While credible evidence may be lacking, I’ve considered the theoretical possibility that Israel is at least manipulating ISIS and Al-Nusra Front to some degree. ISIS is a mortal enemy of the Syrian government, Hezbollah, and Iran, who just happen to be Israel’s 3 biggest enemies. During the ongoing Syrian Civil War, every time Israel has carried out tactical strikes it has been against the Syrian government and not the Jihadist groups. And comments have even been made recently by spokesmen for the two main Jihadist groups, that they pose no threat to Israel.

Howdy Mark,

Yes, you’re right, some of those stories have turned out to be hoaxes. There were three articles in particular which I thought were factual, but which apparently aren’t:
moroccantimes.com/2014/07/nsa-documents-reveal-isis-leaderabu-bakr-al-baghdadi-trained-israeli-mossad/
globalresearch.ca/isis-leader-abu-bakr-al-baghdadi-trained-by-israeli-mossad-nsa-documents-reveal/5391593
liveleak.com/view?i=76b_1406255768
Those three sources all reported on the same story. I don’t want to besiege you with links to articles, because you more than likely don’t have the time to sit and read through all of them. But just in case you’re interested, here goes:
telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/wikileaks/8182847/Wikileaks-Saudis-chief-funders-of-al-Qaeda.html
thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/06/14/america-s-allies-are-funding-isis.html
independent.co.uk/voices/comment/iraq-crisis-how-saudi-arabia-helped-isis-take-over-the-north-of-the-country-9602312.html
washingtontimes.com/news/2013/oct/13/us-allies-let-funds-flow-to-al-qaeda-in-syria/?page=all
These four articles mainly talked about allegations that Saudi Arabia, and/or some wealthy private Saudi citizens, have funneled money to ISIS. So, in other words, whether it was the US, Israel or the Saudis, it makes a lot of sense because all three of those nations share the same enemies, namely Syria and Iran.

Apparently even al-Zawahiri himself has long believed that ISIS, or AQI as it used to be known, is being manipulated by outsiders for geopolitical reasons. Even al-Qaeda itself finds ISIS insanely extremist!

Again, Mark, sorry for all the links. This just seemed like a good place to post them…
